Oya:Na Brantford Registration Deadline

Brantford Indigenous Youth ages 18 to 30 who are unemployed and out of school:

  1. Develop a mutually respectful relationship
  2. Identify a social issue in your community that concerns you
  3. Learn together about Truth and Reconciliation
  4. Partner with a non-Indigenous youth to address the social issue

NPAAMB’s new program is for youth that are interested in developing their employability and life skills through a culture-based program.

  • The Oyà:na program will run 4 days a week for 10 weeks (January 14 – March 20, 2020)
  • Participate in a Community Service opportunity to impact change in your community
  • Earn up to $240 per week of training
  • See how you may qualify for Driver’s Education Training
  • Obtain your G1 Drivers Licence
  • Earn “Building Blocks” incentive awards $$
  • Transportation and childcare assistance may be available
