
Oya:Na Hamilton Registration Deadline
Hamilton Indigenous Youth ages 18 to 30 who are unemployed and out of school:
- Develop a mutually respectful relationship
- Identify a social issue in your community that concerns you
- Learn together about Truth and Reconciliation
- Partner with a non-Indigenous youth to address the social issue
NPAAMB’s new program is for youth that are interested in developing their employability and life skills through a culture-based program.
- The Oyà:na program will run 4 days a week for 10 weeks (January 14 – March 20, 2020)
- Participate in a Community Service opportunity to impact change in your community
- Earn up to $240 per week of training
- See how you may qualify for Driver’s Education Training
- Obtain your G1 Drivers Licence
- Earn “Building Blocks” incentive awards $$
- Transportation and childcare assistance may be available
