Big River Analytics is an Indigenous-owned research and economics consulting firm that provides statistical and analytical capacity to benefit Indigenous peoples, communities, governments, and organizations across Canada. They are a fully remote team of economists, analysts, statisticians, developers, and project management experts that strive to provide custom solutions to technical problems. They are currently looking to add a Data Scientist, Economist, Analyst, and Visual Designer to their growing team!

Analyst

Analysts are the core of our research team. They are expected to turn project objectives into actionable, well-defined tasks that can be delegated to junior analysts or other members of the research team. This requires an understanding of the project objectives, background, context, Big River’s and the client’s position and interests. Under the guidance of the Director of Client Services, the Analyst will support all research activities undertaken by the Client Services team. This will include the development of research narratives that originate in data analysis as well as delivering on general research and analytical tasks.

This is a full-time (37.5 hours / week), permanent position.
