Social Media and Marketing Coordinator

We are seeking a Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to support the Communications and Partnership team. As part of the Communications and Partnership team, the Social Media and Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for driving awareness and engagement among prospects, clients, partners, candidates and the public to generate opportunities for building community, inspiring new projects, and elevating the Matrix360 brand. The person in this role will monitor and engage with our community across all social channels, and create content to help raise awareness for the Matrix360 mission, grow our footprint as Champions for equity, and increase our market share across Canada and the USA.

Responsibilities

Research and Content Creation:

  • Write and edit authentic content that connects with core audience
  • Collaborate with the Communications and Partnership team to capture in-house content and guide content ideation for social channels
  • Support social media KPIs and understand web traffic and metrics associated with web and social channels
  • Work with the Communications and Partnership team to create daily posts and manage the social media content calendar from concept to execution
  • Develop inspiring and engaging stories, videos, photos, blogs, to drive awareness and the Matrix brand
  • Daily engagement (both proactive and reactive) with Matrix360 community to build our following and brand across channels
  • Maintain a social media calendar to track and highlight content, campaigns, and Matrix themes
  • Stay up-to-date on current best practices, models and trends for talent, workplace strategies and diversity and equity
  • Contribute to the overall success of the Matrix360’s team by identifying ways to continuously improve the level of offerings and client experience

Communications:

  • Co-research, co-write marketing & communications documents, presentations and other media formats for Matrix360 brand
  • Co-research, co-create and co-write processes and templates for publications focused on learning and development, workplace strategy and inclusion management
  • Create, design and proofread engagement letters and assist in managing the proposal process for new business

Operations and Administration:

  • Measure performance and results of all social marketing on a monthly basis to help develop and modify strategic approach
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Coordinate and organize meetings, conference calls, video conferences, and web meetings and their related materials as required
  • Research and identify opportunities for increasing client and community engagement
  • Edit, organize, format and built spreadsheets with researched information
  • Develop an understanding of the real estate, property management and development industries through research, evaluation and reporting of companies and their people

  •  Availability to work flexible hours when required

Compensation

  • Base between $40,000 and $55,000
  • Performance bonus up to 30% of base
  • 100% health care and wellness benefits
  •  Travel allowance and professional membership dues
