Ceremony 2 Employment

In this culturally wholistic program, youth will work closely with Instructors and Indigenous Knowledge Keepers to offer clients knowledge and an understanding of ceremonies, along with traditional rites of passage, and knowledge exchanges.

Ceremony 2 Employment promotes cultural connection and community belonging, as well as offering essential life skill and career development activities. Participants will explore familial language histories and learning, as well as ways to access important elements of indigenous culture, such as access to land-based teachings, lessons and experiences.

Sports 2 Employment

Sports 2 Employment offers a unique learning experience, blending the culture and tradition of sports with life skills and career development. In this first course offering, participants will learn and play the game of Lacrosse, developing their player abilities, and earning certifications in coaching and officiating games, as well as learning how to train and work with young players.

This dynamic program incorporates principles of sports with daily life and future goals, working with participants to provide them with the skills to handle life’s big plays, and plan future ones.
