Opportunities

There are many opportunities to work with NPAAMB, and your partnership can be custom tailored to suit your needs.

Career Opportunities

NPAAMB employs a range of professionals to support the needs of our clients and events. Along with guest program facilitators, NPAAMB also employs guest workshop providers, guest trainers, knowledge keepers and elders.

NPAAMB prefers to work with businesses and organizations that are indigenous owned or led, or reflect minority groups. NPAAMB will also employ non-indigenous service providers.

We’re always looking for professional talent to support our programs and services. If you are interested in providing your service to NPAAMB, please reach out to our Manager of Direct Services to begin the conversation.

Reciprocation

NPAAMB holds a unique philosophy- you keep your money and we’ll keep ours. Instead, we work to find solutions we can offer our partners, and they to us. While funding is a constant need, many needs can be filled with collaboration and information sharing. Rather than asking, “how much will this cost,” we prefer to ask, “What can we do for you?”. Let’s work together to determine how our regular services can benefit each other.

Developmental Workshops

Each NPAAMB office offers Developmental Workshops throughout the year. The topics of these workshops can range greatly, from meal preparation and budgeting, to emotional regulation and Service Canada income tax workshops. NPAAMB has worked alongside several great organizations to offer these workshops; organizations like Six Nations Polytechnic, Niagara Health, and the YMCA.

Developmental Workshops can also grow into worksite visits, employing hands on activities and industry professionals to offer one-of-a-kind opportunities to the youth. Along with community facing roles, interest is growing for careers that function outside of the public eye; this means our youth are interested in supporting all levels of an organization, from front-line staff to support and leadership roles.

Workshops also offer a platform for employers to begin creating connections with youth who show interest in entering their respective field. Employers can share coaching and recruitment information to help grow their future candidate pool.

If you’re interested in discussing how your organization can offer a workshop to NPAAMB youth in your city, reach out to our Youth Success Worker Team Lead to begin a great new relationship.
